Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - For qualification

• Innovative and interactive teaching and technical-economic research in the field of logistics and supply chain management, with a focus on the holistic design and planning of logistics systems (includes production, trade, transport and international procurement logistics as well as information and communication technologies for mapping logistics processes)
• Independent implementation of practical case studies and system planning in close cooperation with companies in the private sector
• Testing and integration of new methods and technologies in teaching, especially AI applications
• Responsibility for the chair and the logistics laboratory as well as for the specialization "Logistics" in the course of studies Industrial Engineering and Management, for which the Logistics Department is responsible
• Supervision of scientific theses

Absolutely required:

• Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent), with equivalent study content as in the courses of industrial engineering, business administration or business informatics.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics management and technologies
• Advanced skills in pedagogy and didactics, as well as in research
• The ability to teach in German and/or English is required; willingness to acquire the missing language skills in each case

Desirable:

• Experience in project management
• Practical experience in industry and/or in the university sector
• Experience abroad in a university or business environment
• High level of motivation and ability to work in a team
